Some of the more disturbing details from today's Reuters newsfeed on Salon today: A morgue set up in a Brooks Brothers clothing store received remains a limb at a time. and Kelley spent the day working in a crater left by the towers' collapse. 9:40 a.m. PT We located my brother. He was working out at the gym when the crash happened, and he apparently saw the whole thing. I hope all my friends in New York are OK. San Francisco has closed the Golden Gate and the Bay bridges. Gareth can't get to work (in Marin). I might try to get to the office, because I have so much I need to get caught up on. Still trying to figure out what to do. 12:01 a.m. PT It's almost midnight right now. I ended up working from home today and mostly just alternating between freaking out and/or trying desperately not to freak out. Selena and Esther both called from Portland to check in.
